Pre-season training's a beach!
Swords RFC swopped the pitches of ALSAA for the soft sands of Donabate recently, as part of their pre-season training regime.
The senior squad, along with several of the Under-18 squad, took part in the 90 minute session on the Fingal coast.
That was followed by a reception in the nearby Waterside House Hotel, who have agreed to sponsor Swords' Under-18s side for the coming season.
The 2008-09 campaign will be symbolic, as five of last season's youth side will step up to the senior panel, the first juvenile players at the club to do so. Meanwhile, training for the youth teams is set to get underway in the coming weeks. Any interested players can contact Jamie Gormly on 085- 14018934.
